Made for us in Bali. Hemmed on the long edges, fringed on the short, with cotton thread to avoid a "saddle stitched" effect when dyed. Like all our rayon fabric, they take dyes exceptionally well. With the gorgeous drape and feel of rayon, no one will ever want to take them off (unless it's to put on a Handwoven version which is just that much softer; see the handwovens here). The fringe is a new twisted style which is much easier for washing.

So far, our "masterpiece" is a Lotus Blossom dyed on a rayon sarong. The rayon takes dye so well. Deep, intense colors, especially purples and reds. We just sold a "peace sign" dyed on a rayon sarong

Disappointed with results from Procion Dye with batik so will try some screen printing with thickened dye plus discharge.

The scarves weren't as soft of hand as I'd hoped after marbling. Could there be some trick I'm missing? Otherwise they are great!

I make chuppot (canopies for Jewish weddings). I normally use silk or a polyester blend but loved the idea of the fringes. The fabric takes Dyna-Flow beautifully. For my purposes, this item is a bit small. I would love this in a larger piece. I ordered a scarf along with this to use as a 'tester.' Great combination!

I paint them with Dynaflo and/or Setacolor and stitch them into loose "jackets" or "ponchos."

These are AWESOME! They look great, feel good, and are long lasting. One thing to note, wash in a mesh bag.
