Product Description

This cute skirt is cut from 100% lightweight Cotton Jersey for fullness without weight, and sewn just for us with cotton thread. The wide smocked waistband can be worn high or low on the hips, or can even be pulled up over your bust to wear as a long strapless top or short dress. There are three tiers finished with serged tiny edge ruffles at the two joins. A really versatile garment, and comfy too!

**As some helpful customers indicated in the reviews below, when this skirt was first introduced, it had a problem with the tiers not being sewn together correctly. This has been fixed and is no longer a problem. Thanks to those who pointed this out to us. These are now a hot seller!

Like everyone else says, the fabric is fine for the price, the design is lovely, but the tiers appear to be held together with spit and fall apart if you look at them funny. I would be happy to pay more for a better product. This is not even wearable.

This skirt is very pretty and flowy, I love the shape and it took dye very well but unfortunately it seams started to come apart during the very first wear! I sat down and heard lots of stitches popping - sure enough, it was the stitching holding the teirs together. It's only held together by two rows of straight stitching. It's a shame really because it's a gorgeous skirt but I can't wear it with all those holes in it now.

I love this skirt and it's very comfortable. The only problem I have is that the jersey is a very stretchy fabric (which is good!) and the pintucks are NOT stretchy. So when I'm wearing this I have to be careful and pretend the material is not stretchy at all, or I rip the pintucks. As comfy as it is and as cute as the pintucks are, it almost seems like a waste of such a stretchy material.

Great cotton fabric, great styling....but POOR construction. Literally falls apart with only minor wear and washing. The problem area is where the tiers are sewn together....held together with only one row of straight stitches! Please Dharma, ask the manufacturer to add another row or two of stitches! Simple fix.

No problems with the tiers coming undone, but I did find a hole at the top of the middle tier (it looks like the seam was sewn incorrectly and then ripped out, leaving a weak spot in the fabric). The skirt is so cute, though! I hope the quality issues get sorted out.

I love the material, but I bought it thinking that the problems with the stitching had been resolved. Not so. After dying and rinsing, I found three separate locations along the tiers that I will have to sew the seams back together. Bummed, as my sewing machine is out of commission. I definitely won't be buying more of this one.

I bought one of these to check it out. I was worried about the stitching from reading the other reviews. I agree with the others that it a problem. I gently pulled on the seam for the tiers and the stitches ripped very easily. Unless that is fixed, I won't buy any more of these. It is too bad it has this problem. It is a very nice skirt otherwise and would be very popular. My customers ask for a skirt like this very often.
