This beautiful stylish kimono style jacket is perfect as an outer layer in spring and summer. It is lightweight and sheer enough to be cool on a hot day, while still protecting you form the full force of the sun. Excellent as a stylish beach cover-up. Cut from 100% Rayon LIGHT woven fabric (careful handling this fabric when wet, and wash by hand!), they are semi-sheer and drape nicely, almost gauzy. Split Kimono sleeves, with a rolled and stitched hem edge at the neckline. Pearl serged edges at sleeves and bottom hems, and short ties in front. Would look simply spectacular Ombré or Shibori dyed. Gorgeous!
Meant to be loose and flowing - order it bigger.

I am SO HAPPY with this item!! The fabric takes dye beautifully, and the design is flattering to any body type. I found the sizing to be exact - in fact I was a little concerned because my measurements were exactly what was posted - but it couldn't fit more perfectly.

Love this addition to my wardrobe! Did an ombre effect with a few shibori type techniques and turned up with a knock-out.I dipped while hanging kimono at an angle,hem to neckline so I wouldn't get straight horizontal lines and got a neat look. Did not have any shrinkage problem, but my advice is to reinforce front ties.Tore loose even though not tight fitting.Will be ordering more.

Haven't done anything with it yet, even washing. But the style is lovely and a perfect weight for a spring/summer evening wrap. True to size.

I ordered a small as part of my first order and it got here about three days later (I only paid for the regular shipping, too!). Nice and flowey and fun to wear... the sleeves of the s/m fell just past my elbow and the bottom hung to just above the back of my knees (I am not very big). I did try to tie-dye it and the edged of the circles were a bit fuzy, though i suspect this has to do with the shearyness of the fabric (I am new to the fabric dying world). I plan to order more for gifts.

The design is great, and although you tell us to order larger, I did not expect the piece to shrink sideways.... to the point where I could not wear it after dyeing... even in warm (not hot) dyebath.

This item dyes BEAUTIFULLY! Just made sure that I was careful handling it due to sheerness of the fabric, but it held up really well to whole dyeing process.
