This beautiful stylish kimono style jacket is perfect as an outer layer in spring and summer. It is lightweight and sheer enough to be cool on a hot day, while still protecting you form the full force of the sun. Excellent as a stylish beach cover-up. Cut from 100% Rayon LIGHT woven fabric (careful handling this fabric when wet, and wash by hand!), they are semi-sheer and drape nicely, almost gauzy. Split Kimono sleeves, with a rolled and stitched hem edge at the neckline. Pearl serged edges at sleeves and bottom hems, and short ties in front. Would look simply spectacular Ombré or Shibori dyed. Gorgeous! Meant to be loose and flowing - order it bigger.

I am SO HAPPY with this item!! The fabric takes dye beautifully, and the design is flattering to any body type. I found the sizing to be exact - in fact I was a little concerned because my measurements were exactly what was posted - but it couldn't fit more perfectly.

I ordered a small as part of my first order and it got here about three days later (I only paid for the regular shipping, too!). Nice and flowey and fun to wear... the sleeves of the s/m fell just past my elbow and the bottom hung to just above the back of my knees (I am not very big). I did try to tie-dye it and the edged of the circles were a bit fuzy, though i suspect this has to do with the shearyness of the fabric (I am new to the fabric dying world). I plan to order more for gifts.

I initially purchased it with the idea of handpainting or tie dying it, but it's just too beautiful as it is and white is a good color out here in Arizona!!!

Way, way too small!, even though I ordered the XL. Ended up giving it to my daughter. You really should mention that this shirt runs very small in the catalog and on the website.

A pretty shirt, but I wish I'd known that the edge stitching on the loose edges is not dyeable by fiber reactive dye.

I painted this with silk dyes using a sumi-e brush when it was wet...used it for a dance performance....very soft and flowing, a great buy!

Very delicate. I ordered 2 and one shredded terribly in the washing machine, even though on delicate cycle. I was more careful with the other one and rinsed it out by hand, which is a drawback when you're dyeing several garments for an art show. On the positive side, it's a great style, and flattering to every figure.

Dyed 3 of these up, took them down to my friend's store, within 2 hours sold 2 of them the 3rd has probably also sold. The satin stitching on the edges does not dye up, but it diddn't stop the ladies from wanting it!
