Not very sharpened, so they were difficult to get through the fabric I was using them on. Some of the tips had very rough points that snagged the fabric.

Kind of flimsy, not like the old safety pins I remember from back in the day. I haven't bought safety pins in years, so I don't know what they are like now. Still, very handy to have around.
