Step 5 of 17: Applying Wax

Tjanting tools are used to hold your batik wax and slowly pour it out in a fine line. Just dip the end into your melted wax, let the chamber fill, and let it flow out the spout. The pattern or design you create with your wax is up to you. We recommend size #2 for beginners but having a variety of sizes allows you to easily create multiple lines of differing sizes.
