We offer 7 kinds of shipping to the mainland United States:

Orders placed before 11am (PST) Monday - Friday are shipped the same day.
Orders placed after 11am (PST) Monday - Friday are shipped the next work day.
Orders placed on weekends are shipped Monday.
**Please keep in mind when choosing shipping options that only business days are counted, not holidays, weekends, or the first day processing your order. Example: an Economy 3 day order placed on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning before 11 am PST will be processed and ship Wednesday, so Thursday counts as day 1 when figuring the arrival date. (If you asked for Express next day overnight shipping, it would have gotten to you on Thursday.) With 3 day shipping, the order would arrive to you on the following Monday, because of the weekend (UPS doesn't move on weekends). If you really needed it on Friday for the weekend, you would need to ask for 2 day delivery, not 3 day. Phew, if you are confused about that or have a really important deadline, call us and we'll be glad to help you figure out the delivery date!
    Also, please note the following:
  1. Not all services are available to every zip code.
  2. For all shipping, we are talking about business days.
  3. COD's add an extra $11.00 for each box (COD's for existing COD customers only - we no longer offer COD otherwise)
  4. Only cashier's checks or money orders. No cash (currency) for COD's.
  5. Rates don't include a .50¢/$100 value of your order after the first $100 for insurance.
  6. The US Postal Service insurance starts at $1.00 for the first $20.00 and increases $1.00 per $100.00
  7. If you choose to use the Postal Service and they lose, delay or misplace your package, there will be a 30 day delay before we can replace it while they track it. We prefer other carriers since we can easily locate, trace and resolve problems.

CANADIAN IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES and BROKERAGE FEES:
The customer is responsible for any Canadian Import Duties & Taxes and any Brokerage Fees (if any). These fees may be charged to you when your package reaches the Canadian Border. (These fees are not included in the shipping that we charge you.) According to customer feedback, Canadian Import Duties & Taxes seem to be about 7%-14%. If the items are made in the USA, we will specify this on your invoice for customs. Thanks to NAFTA, these items should be taxed at a lower rate. Brokerage Fees depend upon the shipping method (see below).
  • Priority & First Class Mail International - Especially good for lightweight orders and when time is not critical. According to customer feedback, the Canadian Import Duties & Taxes and a flat $5.00 Brokerage Fee are rarely charged. Priority provides tracking information for your shipment. First Class does not.
  • FedEx International Economy - Fast shipping. No Brokerage Fees, but Duties & Taxes are usually charged by Canadian Customs.
  • FedEx International Priority - Fastest shipping. No Brokerage Fees, but Duties & Taxes are usually charged by Canadian Customs.

IMPORT RESTRICTIONS:
No flammables can be shipped to Canada. This means no solvent-based gutta! Water-based resist is OK.

New News: For most customers outside the USA & Canada we have arranged lower shipping rates using United Parcel Service (UPS) and your domestic postal service. UPS flies the package to your country and then puts it into the mail for delivery by your postal system. Our tests are showing about 2 weeks to most places in the world. Rates are very cheap up to 20 lbs., then regular priority mail is cheaper. See rates below.

Please note! Rolls of fabric 45" and longer CAN NOT be shipped by bulk mail.

We tried this earlier in the year with Fed EX and it was taking way too long for packages to arrive. Our tests with UPS have been much, much better.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS MAY BE CHARGED IMPORT DUTIES AND/OR TAXES BY THEIR COUNTRY'S CUSTOMS OFFICE. These fees are the customer's responsibility and are paid to your country's customs office upon receipt of the package. If you are unsure about customs duties and taxes and would like more detailed information, you should contact your local customs office.

Import Restrictions on International Orders:

Due to federal fire regulations, NO FLAMMABLES can be shipped internationally. Unfortunately, this means no solvent based gutta can be shipped. Water based resist is OK.
Currently, the few items marked as "drop-shipped" are only available to customers within the United States and Canada.

We are continuing to upgrade our website in an effort to make it easier for our international customers. We are also diligently working towards being able to ship to more countries, and will update our site as that becomes possible.
