Yasutomo FabricMate Permanent Chisel Tip Fabric Markers

We looked at a lot of fabric markers and chose these way back when, and they have been our best sellers now for decades.

Why? Because...

  • These fabric pens contain fabric dyes that are permanent without heat setting.
  • The colors mix together just like dyes.
  • They have a highlighter style tip that allows you to vary the thickness of your line by altering the angle of pen.
  • They come in a fabulous array of 25 colors.

The Chisel Tips are great for filling in larger areas or simply creating thicker lines.

These are great! Using the edge of the chisel tip gives lines that are as fine as the brush-tip pens sometimes even finer. I have used them on silk cotton and canvas with vibrant results each time. There was some bleeding on the Habotai silk more than with the brush tip markers but on the cotton the lines were very crisp.

I used these for lettering on PFD cotton and loved how thefine point allowed me to write as if I had a pen in my hand. The broad point yoo does great lettering for really bold effects. No smudging no smearing quick stting without heat-Fantastic!!

I used these in an 8th grade class for a fundraiser quilt. Many ran out of dye and had to be replaced. It gets very expensive this way

I bought a basic set of colors(Red Yellow Blue Green and Purple) and have used them to color millinery elastic for my FeltHappiness fascinators. The markers are great and work much more smoothly than Sharpie pens on elastic! Only wish that I purchased the colorless one and perhaps a few more colors as now need pastel tints!

These work really well - one can 'mix' colors by shading and overlapping two different pens.

Very handy and useful when you have elastic that isn't nylon (and therefore resistant to acid dyes).

after all the great reviews I tried them. The worst I have ever used four hours of work washed out to pale lines.

FabricMate is actually way better than I expected - from reading previous reviews. My project is to freshen my canvass sneakers - they are faded and bleach-spotted. I purchased 4 pens thinking that I would need them all. Not so. I only used one for the pair and I have ink left in that one. Coverage is good. I picked the navy and it is very dark - almost black. No problem. They look great - new even - and no more bleach spots!!! Easy to use lots of control. Cleans off fingers with soap and water (and a little scrubbing).
