I ordered a selection of blues "silver" and white. I was surprised by the little brush in the cap. I like the consistency of the paint. It's easily thinned with a dot of water. The only thing I would give a heads up about is that "SILVER" is not really silver grey one would be used to seeing. It's more of a pearl and is translucent. If you want grey silver get the light grey too but expect that the metalic sheen to be slightly multicolored (pearl) I've read here where gold is also translucent and requires an undercoat of mustard yellow. Overall I'm happy with this paint and will buy again.

Angelus Leather Paints are the BEST! When applied correctly this paint won't peel or crack or feel tacky. The colors are brilliant and easy to mix for custom colors. I'm a professional costume designer and crafts artisan and I paint a lot of shoes and other leather garments. I'm so excited that my one of my favorite vendors is now selling my one of my favorite products!

Just rehabbed a favorite leather purse that was in good shape but looked tatty from the color fading. Pretty darned good results...be sure to use the finishing wax.

We've been using this paint for more than two years on wallets key fobs and clutch purses all items that are handled a LOT. The paint holds up nicely the colors stay bright even as the leather wears or changes color depending on how it was tanned. (We test paint a leather before committing a lot of effort to it. The paint does not hold on oily leathers!) I'm glad DT is carrying Angelus Leather products now. Great decision!

For those wanting to try it on vinyl make sure you prep it with acetone first or it will not work. I've painted over vinyl shoes many times with great results but have prepped really well with pure acetone not alcohol like the instructions say.

The neon colors do not cover and go on streaky even when painted with a similar color first (as Angelus suggested when I contacted them) Very disappointed.

I used this on upholstery vinyl with unusable results. I tested it on vinyl treated with 90% isopropyl alcohol and untreated but it remained permanently tacky either way. I have used this on polyurethane fake leather boots and leather running shoes to great effect. Vinyl was a disaster. Lighter colors like yellow need to be primed on anything but white surfaces or the base color shows through.

DO NOT USE FOR VINYL EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS THAT YOU CAN! IT STAYS TACKY AND THE ITEMS WILL STICK TOGETHER! FALSE ADVERTISING!

Don't use the neon colors. I've used these paints for awhile and I'm so in love with them. Tried 2 of the neon colors recently (parisian pink and amazon green) and they are both watery and apply very streaky. I even ordered a second pink to see if I got a bad batch and it's bad as well.

I am painting a horse bridle and this paint has been wonderful to work with. The leather maintains its flexibility without cracking.
