I have purchased hundreds of these for many different school-wide projects. We have made many different kinds of Christmas ornaments. We also made mural-sized wall hangings by stitching the squares together. You're only limited by your imagination!

Our elementary art program plans to use these in our 5 schools this year ... to continue a silk painting feature for grades 4 & 5. We tried working with these hoops, and these work well with children.

These are great beginner projects for kids and adults alike. Much better than the junk from your local craft store. I am a retired art teacher. Also, the service and product choices are great..

the silk hoops are great for school projects, but the glue being used on them is not holding up as well as it used to in the past.

The Silk Stretched Hoops are fun. They're a quick silk painting project and look really cool hung in a window. Sometimes the edges are rough, but I haven't had any problems with them.

One (out of 15 total)had some rust around the edge of the hoop; the others were perfect and the kids' craft I used them for was very well received.

Bought these for a workshop that has not yet taken place, but they look like just the right thing.

very fragile, 2 of my hoops were damaged at the edge. also, the wire edge doesn't lift the hoops up high enough and the silk kept touching the table when my students were using them. This caused the dye to bleed over the resist.
