Fantastic! That's all I can say. Fabric has two sides, a soft rayon pile on the face with a silk chiffon back. Can be immersion dyed or easily painted on the chiffon back side. Simple painting techniques work the best. Can be used for the Devore technique. See it elsewhere for $20 - $40 yd.
Fabric Details
• 18% silk, 82% rayon
• You can dye this with Our Fiber Reactive Dyes
• We found that this shrinks 11% in Length and 6% in Width disclaimer
• Available in cut yardage and in 11 & 50 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water

Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.

I love this stuff! Great quality - no slubs or imperfections in the texture of the fabric and takes dye like a toddler drinks apple juice! Be aware that velvet will take a pastel color dye and make it dark so if you are seeking a light shade, dilute your dye a LOT and do some test strips.

Seemed like it has quite a bit of sizing in it, not as easy to paint as the
velvet scarves, which were a dream.
