Silk Folding Sun Hat

Take it out of it's pouch and "POP", it springs open into a 16" diameter sun hat! Then, with a simple twist, it becomes a 6" disk that goes back into a matching pouch. The bag and hat are 8mm Silk Habotai and can be either dyed or painted. Made in China, available only in white, and loaded with possibilities! For promotions, vacations, the car, or even your purse. Give them away at weddings, sell them at outdoor concerts, sports events, beaches, or wherever there's sun!

Please note:
Collapsible rim is made of metal. Metal can rust if exposed to water for too long. Salt (as in dyebaths) can make it much worse, as can acids or alkali - like vinegar with Acid Dye and Soda Ash with Procion. Safer to paint these with silk paints like Setasilk or Dynaflow (iron to set), or a silk dye that you can "fix" quickly with a fixative like Jacquard Green label or Tinfix silk dye, used in conjunction with the Jacquard Dyeset Fixative, where you let the dye dry, paint on the fixative, let it sit 5 or ten minutes, quickly wash it out, then get them dry as quickly as possible. They are such popular hats, they are worth the effort!
