Not very sharpened so they were difficult to get through the fabric I was using them on. Some of the tips had very rough points that snagged the fabric.

I would give a zero if I could.These safety pins are very cheaply made. Where the pin begins to taper to a point you can see how cheaply it is done. So where it enters the fabricit begins to tear at the threads.So watching it try to enter my silk charmeuse was a painful event.Most of the time the point is soo dull it won't even go through one layer of silk! Of course I pull it back outever so slowly. OUCH.!!! Dharma please your materials are so gorgeous. Don't allow your own products to ruin them.

Kind of flimsy not like the old safety pins I remember from back in the day. I haven't bought safety pins in years so I don't know what they are like now. Still very handy to have around.
