Product Description

These are 1/2 ounce squeeze bottles with a special metal tip that screws onto the top. The tip and bottle come as a set. Extra bottles can be purchased separately. The metal tips gives a very fine line. Comes in three sizes .5mm, .7mm, .9mm. Useful for applying gutta, water based resists and medium to thick consistency paints or thickened dyes in a fine line. If you have lost the bag the tips came in you can tell them apart by the tiny rings that run around the center of the tip. One line is a #5, two lines is a #7 and three lines is a #9.

Note: To fill the bottle, just pop out the plastic tip and then replace before use. (A funnel is helpful for filling!)

**these have a California Cancer warning on the package because the tips are brass with nickel plating, so please don't eat them or let your kids or pets eat them. There is no risk from handling them in they way they are intended, and you will probably handle them less than your pennies. Copper is on the California list too.

Made in: UNITED STATES (USA)

Sizes are in millimeters. .5mm, .7mm, .9mm

I clean mine by using an extra bottle filled with soapy water and force through the nib.. then I store them in permanently in a little jar of water.. I never trust they are clean enough to leave out to dry.. I am no longer disappointed with clogged useless nibs

Bottles are easy to fill with guttaresist and very squeezable a soft plastic and gentle on the hand. I like the metal tip it gives a nice smooth line and doesn't snag the silk.

I use these constantly to do really detailed resist drawing. They are easy to fill if you use a syringe which you can buy from Dharma.

I like the #9 tip best for drawing resist lines. I have 34 of them for different colors of Inkodye mixes. I add alcohol because they plug up if you get mold in your resist. Find a rust proof wire to stick in the top for storage. I wish the bottles held more. The tips are real nice.

I have used the bottles with the metal tips for several years with no problem but the last few that I purchased leak terribly. The resist drips from around the cap and falls on to my work in places that I do not want it. I am now looking for a different product.

I love these bottles and tips! I always get great lines. If you're having trouble with resist getting stuck in the tips I always soak mine for a little while in Gutta Solvent put some water in the gutta bottle and then squeeze out the excess gunk onto scrap fabric.
