My name is Jessica Peters and a family tradition inspired me to open my own tie dye shop on the web.
Every year for Easter, my family tie dyes shirts instead of eggs. (Shirts last way longer.) :) This year was my daughter's first Easter and we were stopped and complimented so many times on her tie dye, I concluded that babies in tie dye must be irresistible! Lots of people asked where we'd gotten her onesie and they always seemed surprised and impressed when I told them I'd made it.
I love tie dyeing because it's not an exact science and because the beauty of each design is a surprise that isn't revealed until the end. I have to trust that I'm putting the dye in all the right places. It is very relaxing to me. My repertoire has grown in leaps and bounds as I let my customers direct the new projects I undertake. I can tie dye anything!
