This is a rather new shape for a bag for Dharma. Made in Bali of 100% cotton baby Canvas fabric. The basic bag mass is 16" wide x 22" long. The bag folds over to measure about 16" wide x 12" high without the handles. Self fabric handles are about 28" all the way around. The neat feature to this bag is that the zipper is on the inside - kind of like a possum pouch? The bag opens up flat (see photo) with the centered nylon zipper smack dab in the middle. The shoulder straps could also be slung over both shoulders like a back pack for carrying. Made by our friends in Bali at fair labor sewing workshops.

I knew the zipper wouldn't dye so I dyed the whole thing royal blue and am embellishing it with white accents to match the zipper. It looks great is sturdy and will be just about perfect for what I'm using it for. The design means it's not great for really heavy stuff but I plan on putting mostly clothing in it so that'll work well.

Idea for fixing a zipper that will not dye. Use sharpies and a bit of alcohol in the colors you dyed your bag. Heat dry in dryer to set.

body of duffel dyed beautifully love the shapeBUT zipper did not dye and is VERY visible especially using dark purple color dye long white stripe is glaringly unattractive
