Marabu Silk Paints are a water-based silk paint, set by ironing. For all techniques of silk painting and for all silk qualities as well as thin cotton fabrics. Brilliant, intense colors. Soft to the touch and very good flow properties. Washable and suitable for dry cleaning.
Quick note: folks ask for a 'Mixing White' that is available from Marabu Germany, and a couple colors not shown, but unfortunately, these are currently NOT available here in the U.S. We aren't sure about the couple colors we can't get, but the white contains a binder that is not yet certified in the US/Canada. Thus we don't have it. However, you can use #830-White Dye-na-flow or the #30 Lightning Medium in the Setasilk, these will also work to make a pastel or lighten colors, and will not add that chalky effect that you get when using a more opaque white, but it will also add some transparency.
These work perfectly with Marabu Contours & Effects outline pens.
*Currently, the Marabu Silk Thickener is not available but, we have found that Setacolor Fabric Paint Thickener works just as well.
Made in: GERMANY (DE)
