They work well and stick well to the lids. They are not supposed to be an exact representation of the dye on a project. If you want that do what I did and dye a couple hundred swatches liquid chromatography style.

I want to love it but sadly cannot. I purchased over the phone while handling a shipping issue and didnt realize this isnt the entire color catalog which was a disappointing discovery and makes this a really poor value. Also some of the printed liquid colors are way off in particular the oranges and reds. The ice splits printed well.
