Instructions

Jet Pro Soft Stretch Heat Transfer Paper leaves a soft hand and allows for vibrant, wash-durable ink jet printed transfers to white and light colored cotton, cotton/poly blends and 100% poly fabrics. Neenah's soft stretch is for products such as t-shirts, coasters, mouse pads, and leather goods. Apply using either a commercial press or a hand iron. Works in all ink jet printers, with dye based, pigment based or sublimation inks.

Like most ink jet papers, pre-press your garment to remove moisture and wrinkles. Hot and warm peels are quick and easy and a gentle stretch of the fabric, in all directions, after the paper has been peeled away will give you the softest hand. This paper is not cold peel friendly.

Shelf life: "The 'expiration date' is approximately 1 year, but in reality, if sealed in a Ziploc/poly bag and stored in a climate controlled environment, it doesn't expire." This is a direct quote from the manufacture. It sounds great but please, please keep in mind that, like all coated fabrics or papers, that coating is extremely fickle; humidity and dry, hot environments will damage them. Quickly. Keep it cool, keep it air tight and you're good to go.

I ordered a 50 pack because I couldn't get my favorite supersoft transfer paper and I had a steep learning curve figuring out how to get this paper to work properly. After a LOT of trial and error including a ton of ruined tote bags (I'm using these for canvas tote bags) I searched online and finally figured out a pretty foolproof method at least for canvas.1) make sure your iron isn't TOO hot. Mine was running at 410 degrees at the highest setting which was overkill. I turned it down a bit so it hovered around 375 at its hottest point.2) Do a first pass with HARD pressure without sliding the iron across the surface. Make sure you pick up and move the iron every 5 seconds until you've pressed the whole piece. 3) After the initial pressing then start moving with firm pressure across the image. I was using half sheets and pressed for a total of about 35-40 seconds.4) Peel the backing off IMMEDIATELY. If you wait until it cools you'll end up with paper stuck to the fabric and it's impossible to get off completely.5) After removing the paper place some parchment paper over your image and re-press for 30 seconds. Set the fabric aside WITH THE PARCHMENT STILL ATTACHED until cool. Once completely cool you can remove the parchment easily and the image will be set better and no longer sticky.I hope this helps other people avoid too many failed attempts! Once I got this method down I got consistent nice-looking results.

Love this transfer paper! Best results are obtained using a heat press.

This is absolutely not a substitute for the super soft transfer paper. It's fine for use with certain products but not remotely the same.
