Hey folks, great news this month! Enforcement and certificate of compliance requirements of the recently passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) aimed at protecting children from products containing lead and phthalates have been postponed for a year. The poorly written law has created worry and confusion for some small businesses. Legislation is also being introduced to reduce the impact on small and home based business.
