What Is "Dharma"?

No, it's not related to Jack Kerouac's "Dharma Bums", and no, we are not from India and there is no one here wearing a turban. No, we are not the Dharma Initiative from that TV series, Lost.

I chose the name Dharma Trading Co. when I started this business back in the 60's because to me the word Dharma meant "Acting in accordance with the will of God", or just "Acting correctly."

I wanted to see if I could be in business without sacrificing my ethical values and I thought using Dharma would remind me. (It was a 60's thing).

It's 42+ years later. I'm pretty happy with the way it has gone. You be the judge.
