Alison Watt Jackson

Greetings!
My name is Alison Watt Jackson, and I live on the central coast of California, in Shell Beach, which is a constant source of energy and inspiration for me. I am a silk artist, photographer, writer, massage therapist, clinician, vegetarian, and animal and nature enthusiast and volunteer. In addition to my own backyard and the ocean, some of my influences for my creativity come from travel, Buddhism, nature, and people. My style of art (no matter what medium I am using) is usually all about shape and COLOR.
I am fond of using several types of silk dyes, including both Tinfix (probably my favorite) and Jacquard. One of my favorite colors I have discovered with Dye-Na-Flow silk paints that I now use all the time is the bright lime-green called "chartreuse;" it is a wonderful, lighthearted color for the type of work I do!
You can see more of my creations at Silkieart.com, or you can email me with questions or comments at alison@silkieart.com.
