My name is Bobbi J and I'm the owner/designer of Designs By Bobbi J. My goal is to design and create hand painted silk wearable art and home decor items. I've started with silk scarves and plan to add more items such as decorative pillow covers and other items in the future.
I had pursued art and design in school and although my career went in a different direction, always wanted to bring art back into my life. I remembered a purchase that I had made (too many years ago to mention) where I tried my hand at silk scarf painting. I dusted off the paint brushes and went back to work.
Starting this particular business, in the summer of 2016, seemed like a natural way to combine two things I enjoy (wearing scarves and interior design) with my love of color and design. Hope you all enjoy the journey.
