I am a Hungarian living in Budapest. I started with silk painting 30 years ago, but because of my job, family, duties, etc. I did not have enough time for painting. I started 6 years ago again, I enjoy every moment of silk painting. I create scarves in different larges, I use different silk types (Habotai, Charmeuse, Chiffon, Satin) and different techniques. I create the motives, every scarf is hand-painted and original. I started with hobby paints (Javana, Dye-na-flow), now I am painting with steam fixed dyes (Dupont) I like this creative process and like to experiment with the colors and techniques. I use Dupont Silk Dyes and resist and I like to work with your Air Pen Color Dispenser and Easy Fix Stretcher Frames. I like to watch videos of other artists, I really learn a lot from their work. My next plan to try the "Aquarell-technique". My story is a good example, it is never too late: if you have a dream, you should not give it up, you can postpone your plans and start in a better time.
