I grew up in a family where being creative was encouraged. As well as getting out in nature. So these two elements have been a constant in my life; creativity and the natural world.
I have been blessed to be able to travel and work in remote and beautiful areas of the world. Which become the inspiration for my artwork. I am self taught in both batik (21 years) and watercolor (6 years). Through experimentation and time I have created my own individual style. I get almost all my supplies from Dharma Trading: Habotai silk fabric, Jacquard silk dyes, silk thumbtacks.
