Wax & Wane Fiber
Wax & Wane Fiber is a nomadic fiber studio and dye kitchen currently working in the Baltimore/DC area. Our mission is two-fold. First, we create products to be worn on the body and displayed in the home dyed entirely with natural plant material. Second, we facilitate workshop experiences as a way to pass down information on natural dyes to others, in order to create a sense of environmental awareness and advocacy while making art.
What do you make:
We sell all of our products on etsy and at local markets. Our products range from scarves, bandanas, table cloths and runners, throw pillows and wall tapestries
What inspires you to create:
The magic of the natural world and its total unpredictability
What Dharma products do you use:
Your raw silk is our FAVORITE! We also have used a lot of your silk rayon for scarves.
