My name is Craig, and I've been doing tie-dye for probably about a year and a half. I got my start from attending a workshop that Eric Bowers, who is also a featured artist, put on. I love being able to make something totally different and unique, and tie-dyeing really fit in with some of my other hobbies. Like Eric, I also use Dharma's Fiber Reactive Procion Dyes; the colors are just great, and the dye is really awesome stuff. Dharma is also the place for all the other stuff you use for tie-dye (soda ash and such). I usually just kept a few basic colors in stock because mixing up your own colors is half the fun. But for the hard to mix colors, or for something that you need to be consistent on, dharma really has a huge color selection on their dyes; it's really cool that you can just order such slight differences in colors.
