Dawn Doyle

Hello! I started with a thift store find and then another dress was bought in Cottonwood Arizona. I have laways loved tie dye and wondered how you go about making it, so I started researching white clothing, dyes, indigo....Funny thing is all articles I read were on Dharma on how to do tie dye, how to create indigo and all the blanks were available.
So the journey began.....I started an indigo vat that is now about 7 years old, thanks to indigo crystals and chemicals from Dhamra.
I use all the the procion dyes, soda ash, sodium algenate, available from dharma to create my tie dye.
Inspired by sunsets here is sunny Arizona, nature inspires with flowers of color. I have been creating for 6 years and keep experimenting. I also do batiking for custom designs and quilt squares.
