Since 1980 I have used Dharma Fiber Reactive Dyes for cotton, and sometimes for silk, and Dupont silk dyes for silkpainting and Rozome on silk. I also use your Silkpaint gutta, though I am primarily a wax-resist artist.
I began learning batik in 1980, and soon after that, began silk painting. I love Dupont dyes, and used them for many years in a slightly diluted form for silkpainting. Then, in 1999, I began learning Rozome with Betsy Sterling Benjamin, and found that the undiluted Dupont is a reasonable substitute in rozome for the very concentrated Japanese dyes. Lately I have been experimenting with soy wax to replace paraffin, since it washes out. Perhaps Dharma would be interested in carrying it? Also, I have bought many brushes, auxiliary chemicals, and other silkpainting tools from Dharma over the years. There is always a big order to Dharma for my silkpainting, batik, and rozome students at Ghost Ranch, in NM.
