Greetings..so, I am 45 years old and born in Chicago. After college at Indiana U, moved to Boulder, CO and began to follow the Dead, Phish, and Billy Strings around the country selling the majority of my dyes at shows. I have been making dyes now for about 2 years now, and find it to be a fun, therapeutic method of spending my time off from my bartending job at Margaritaville Ft Myers Beach. The name Blind Hound Designs comes as a tribute to my dog n best friend Bruiser. He is a male Bassett Hound who got glaucoma when he was 5 yrs old and had to have his eyes removed from the disease. He is 13 yrs old now and still loves to hit the road and go to shows as well. Currently, we now reside in ft myers beach and will continue to make dyes outta almost every white natural fiber we can find! Dyeing has become a wonderful hobby that also brings in extra money for us, and continue to enjoy learning new styles and folds and unique color combinations.
