I am a textile artist lucky enough to live in the Most Beautiful Place in America (at least according to GMA voters :) - the Sleeping Bear region of Michigan's Leelanau County. A friend got me interested in textiles a few years ago, and it has opened up a whole new world to me. My textile work is heavily influenced by the lush natural landscape. I have only just started to enter shows, but I am happy to say that every juried show I have applied to has accepted my work. I look forward to many more years of exploring ways to interpret nature in textiles.
