Ivy Morrison
Triple Aquarian

Ivy Morrison is a dye artist based in Minneapolis, MN, after living in Los Angeles for ten years. With twenty-five years of experience in various creative fields—such as professional dance, choreography, and birth work—her passion for color theory and fashion eventually converged, leading her to the world of dyeing and further evolving her artistry.
Her love for dyeing began as a young girl when it was first introduced by one of her mother’s friends. From that moment, her fascination with creating wearable art blossomed. In 2019, Ivy started dyeing her toddler’s stained clothing, quickly gaining compliments and custom commissions. During the height of the pandemic, she took a leap, purchasing natural fiber kids’ items to experiment with ice dyeing. After selling everything and donating 100% of the proceeds, her business “Triple Aquarian“ was born, and Ivy has been creating ice-dyed garments ever since.
Ivy’s work is deeply inspired by crystals, nature, space, music, fashion, art, and her eclectic childhood. She is particularly drawn to the science and mystery of ice and snow dyeing, where pigments from Procion fiber-reactive dyes separate, refract, and imprint onto fabric in unexpected and magical ways.
