Hi, my name is Jamie from @jamiedyes! PNW born and raised. Tie dying has been my hobby for the last 12 years. My passion for color therapy and festival fashion has grown exponentially within the last 5 years. What started as a way to customize my own wardrobe progressed to creating unique and custom pieces for my friends, family, and a community of people with a shared love for music. I created my Instagram @jamiedyes a few years ago to connect with festival attendees to share and spread my art! I am so grateful for the endless support and love.
Educating myself on different dying techniques and supplies helped elevate my art. I exclusively ice dye and aim to use dyes that create multi-color splits. A few of my favorite dyes from Dharma are Black Cherry, Lilac, Wasabi, New Black, Alchemist, and Dutch Chocolate.
