My name is Jess and I'm a stay at home mom of 4, and I love anything and everything related to yarn! I started dying my own yarn as a way to save money and found that I loved it! Once I began regularly selling my hand dyed yarn, I decided to start using acid dyes rather than food dye. They intimidated me at first, but I quickly found that they give such beautiful, rich colors. I have use both Jacquard Acid Dyes and the Dharma Acid Dyes, but I lean toward the Dharma dyes because of the value and amazing color selection. I love placing photos of my inspiration alongside photos of my yarn, it gives people such a great visual of how the colors come together. My inspiration tends to lean toward things I see every day, like nature and food, or seasonal/holiday themes.
