I have been a fiber artist for more than 19 years and have explored many types of dyeing on fabric. I have been captivated by marbling fabric , using a gel plate to create one of a kind prints. These become master pieces in their own rights. I am inspired by my enormous garden which produces a variety of flowers and leaves from which I make the gel prints. I wanted to preserve the delicacy of these plants to admire during the winter months.
I use a Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate , marbling paints from a Marbling Starter Set, and acrylic paints to accomplish the results.
