Hello!
My name is Kara Mae and I am both an artist and musician, along with a Stay at Home Mom!
This past summer I hosted a tie dye party using Dharma Fiber Reactive Procion Dyes as I wanted to upcycle my toddler’s stained clothing. The dyes were so wonderful to work with, I started doing all my family’s clothing! I read about how to ice dye and instantly fell in love with the process and it quickly turned into a small business on Etsy!
I am nature enthusiast who enjoys long walks in the woods where I gather my inspiration for colors and designs for my next projects.
As I am now the mom of an active, adorable toddler, he helps in my creation of visual art. My extremely understanding husband, supportive dog, and two self-absorbed cats, make it easy to get time in to do my projects!
As Minnesota winter brings snow, I am excited to experiment more with snow dying!
My favorite colors to work with for ice dye are Hydrangea, Amethyst, and Deep Yellow. They split so wonderful!
