Karina Flow
Hey! My name is Karina Flow and I'm a Melbourne-based professional performing artist specializing in prop manipulation and flow arts.
I have been performing with silk veils for 3 years now amongst some other visual props and eventually, I decided I want to make my own! Working with colours and finding new gradients is like medicine to me, I find the process of dyeing sheer fabrics very meditative and fulfilling, and the final result is always a visual treat!
My dance veils are coloured using Dharma And Jacquard Acid dyes, I just love the shades that are achievable with them. They blend so well with the correct technique and the UV reactive colours look so mesmerizing when dancing with them.
I have recently launched an online shop called 'PROPShOP' by State of Flow where you can purchase my work via my website / Etsy.
