My name is Krissy, and I am a mother to three spirited boys, a Nurse Practitioner/RN, and an avid experimenter with all things DHARMA! Working for 15 years in healthcare has its ups and downs… it’s downright stressful. I sought a hobby that enabled me to escape the stresses of everyday life, whilst fostering my creative energy.
What began as a fun, interactive activity I could do with my boys has become a passion and blossoming second career. As my skills grew, my experiments led me to ice-dyeing. I started making shirts and sweatshirts for family. Soon I had custom requests from friends and folks that saw my progress on Facebook!
Ice-dyeing is my preferred method, although I have made a few liquid tie-dye pieces for certain items. I am inspired to create unique and original ice-dyed items that aren’t your run-of-the-mill generic tie-dye pieces.
