Aloha, I would LOVE to share my art with you all, I've been using Dharma products for 23 years now, and you have helped me create some wonderful stuff!
I've lived in Hawaii for 35 years, and starting painting on silk 23 years ago. I started by making dresses, jackets, kimonos and sarongs and moved into fine art. I am inspired daily by the lushness of our Islands, the birds, the fish, the sacred dance of Hula....I am self taught so it's been quite a journey. I show at several Big Island galleries and have my clothing in several boutiques here. I use your silk chiffon, crepe de chine, charmeuse and have recently started experimenting with your jacquard and chiffon scarves. I use only Jacquard red label silk dyes, which require steaming to set the colors. I also use the classic gutta, rather than the water-based one, as it holds better in our humid climate.
