Laura Lee Fritz

Laura Lee Fritz is a fabric artist, who, for years, has hand appliqued, hand quilted, longarm quilted, and played with fabric in general. For her hobbies, she raises sheep half-a-mile away from the San Francisco Bay in Marin, California. She spins and weaves and felts with the fleeces. For her vocation, she writes books of continuous-line quilting designs, digitizes the same designs for computerized quilting machines, and teaches everything she has learned in fiber arts.

The latest passion that Laura cannot extricate herself from since the Dharma tutorial came out is ice dyeing new fabrics that she then uses for quilting.

Raised in Berkeley, she has also lived in New York City, Southcentral Alaska, Western Montana, and the Napa Valley in California. Her husband and bluetick hound keep her company and help herd the sheep.
