Leanne Marinace
My business's name is Ariel. I am the sole proprietor of the business, and my name is Leanne Marinace. My studio is in Bend, OR, and I sell wholesale all over the country through sales representatives. I studied textile design at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and received a BFA in Textiles in May 1992. I started this business about two years ago. Right now I am producing mainly silk scarves. I design the patterns and mix the colors and print each scarf using a resist method.
