Lori Campbell

Greetings,
I am Lori, partner to Andy and working mom to our daughter (age 2.5), Rowan. Mine are the dye stained hands behind "Beneath the Rowan Tree," our home based business in hand dyed (tie-dye and low water immersion) and painted clothing and natural toys for babies and young children. We work mostly in cotton, silk, and wood, and strive to provide natural products designed to encourage wonder and imagination ~ items we would use in our own family, inspired by our daughter and our commitment to gentle parenting and walking gently on the earth.
Our pictured items represent our work in Dharma cotton blanks and silks. We use a wide variety of Dharma clothing, and particularly like to use the fair trade cotton. We use silk (habotai) in various sizes from handkerchiefs to sarongs! We also rely on the MX Procion dyes for cotton, and the attendant chemicals that we order from Dharma and import to our home in Canada.
