Lori Di Vincenzo

I have been making clothing since high school. I started selling designer clothes online when I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 19 and couldn't work at a regular 9-5. I later started selling my own creations. I finally launched Venni Caprice on Etsy in 2007. I slowly worked my way to selling on Etsy full time, which I am proud to say I now do. I have three stores on Etsy. One casual line, one high end line, and one overstock store!
My most popular is the tie back hoodie which is sold here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Unrulyshop
I have never taken a sewing class or had any training whatsoever, and taught myself everything I know. I also sell Venni Caprice at 9 boutiques and stores from the UK to Canada, with new boutiques in the works! I use Dharma Inkjet Transfer Paper for all of my light fabric graphics. For the most part, the inspiration comes from the fabric - the stretch, the drape, or the color. Most of my designs are a result of visualizing the piece in my head. The visualization is then transferred to the finished piece, skipping the drawing step.
