My Story:
Until I looked at my newborn son for the first time, I never spent much time considering what was truly important to me as a parent. Watching him grow up and explore his world, surrounding him with high-quality, handmade, beautiful, open-ended toys became more and more important.. especially when so much of our world can be so overwhelming to the opened senses of an infant or toddler.
Through motherhood, I found my true artistry and found a calling to create unique, one-of-a-kind playsilks to wrap my boys in during our days. Our playsilks have been our superhero capes, the farms for our wooden animals. They've been the roof of our tents and the seas for our boats. It's magical how, in a child's eye, they can truly become anything they can imagine!
The Products I Use:
In addition to using the Habotai silk scarves and handkerchiefs, I also use a combination of Jacquard Acid Dyes, Dharma Acid Dyes and I've also begun playing with natural dyes, too!
