I hand dye yarn using Jacquard acid dyes that I purchase from Dharma.
I was inspired to start dyeing my own yarn to knit and crochet up when I couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere else, then I started offering it up for sale for others to enjoy. A friend of mine pointed me to Dharma Trading and I have been purchasing acid dyes there since. Dyeing yarn is very relaxing to me and you never know how it's going to turn out in the end, it's an art that takes a lot of patience to do.
