I am a rancher with an artistic side that enjoys many forms of art, especially cowboy scarves. I have been a fiber artist for 30 years and work primarily in silk and cotton scarves, but sometimes do t-shirts as well. I have worked with natural dyes, Procion Fiber Reactive Dyes and Jacquard Acid dyes. Past projects have involved weaving, felting, batik, macrame and marbling. Creating things of beauty and working with colors has always brought me great satisfaction. I find tie-dyeing a fun challenge to explore tying techniques and the enjoy the randomness that leads to unexpected results.
