I've been an artist for the past 40 years, working in pretty much every medium and on many surfaces. One of my resolutions for 2010 was to try my hand at silk painting wearable art and placed my first Dharma order in early January. I have experimented and taught myself many different procedures using: washable gutta and applicators, Shiva paint sticks, rubbing plates, Dr. Ph Martins stamping ink, moldable stamp pads, Dye-na-flow paints, Setacolor transparent for sun painting, Setacolor opaque for black silk, Tinfix dyes, clips and claws for use with home made stretcher. I've just finished my 110th scarf with great success.
