We are Mountain Air Batik (Matt and Brian), a small company in Portland, Oregon. We have both been fans of Batik art for years. Five years ago we started making our own batiks. After being encouraged by friends, we took a bunch of shirts on the road and sold out in almost one day! the year 2000 began Mountain Air Batik, and we have been using Dharma products since the beginning; they range from baby clothes to dresses, procion dyes, waxes, and tjanting tools. We are regulars at the Portland Saturday Market. We do not have a website as of yet, but one is the works! We can be reached by e-mail with questions regarding our work.
