Hi my name is Maxine Caprioli-Hight. I started to paint Silk Scarves 3 years ago and I am HOOKED! I am a fine artist and currently in Western shows and galleries. My style is very realistic but with the scarves , I am looser and the color combinations are awesome. My Grandmother came from Germany and she painted silk scarves for a company in New York City, now I have taken up the torch!
I use Habotai Silk in various sizes along with Dupont and Jacquard Dyes. I love the Serti Method because it is like creating one of my paintings. Most of my designs are Western in nature because I live cowboy country. Which is funny because I was raised in New York and New Jersey, high heels and blue jeans not Cowboy boots! I can't tell you how AMAZING it is to have Dharma as a supplier for the products I need. They are so knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant and well, it feels like family when I call.
