Nancy Chadwick

I've experimented with several media (pencil, charcoal, pastel, paint, etc), but fabric is, for me, the most challenging (and interesting) medium because of the infinite variety of texture, pattern, and color that it offers. Each fabric has its own personality and character, and I enjoy working with it in many forms -- quilt art, reproductions, fashion accessories and even mouse pads! I enjoy working with FabriSign high thread count cotton broadcloth.
My artistic style ranges from realism to abstract, and subjects are just as diverse -- from the American Civil War to baseball. Originals and graphic reproductions of my quilt art are in private collections and have been displayed in national exhibitions and such public venues as the Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain House and the Baseball Hall of Fame. My Etsy shop has a description of each work, together with background info on the original (non-digital) work. For example, there is some interesting info on the historical research I did when I was creating the original "Gettysburg: the Crossroads" quilt.
