My name is Olga Sobolevskaya, I live and work in Kiev, Ukraine. I have been practicing silk painting for more than 12 years and from year to year my passion for this type of creativity becomes more and more. I have studied in two art studios under the guidance of silk painting artists over a period of eight years.

Now I continue to develop my skills, inspired by the work of famous artists. For example, silk painting of scarves based on and influenced by the works of Hundertwasser, Klimt and Picasso. I like to translate the artist's intention to silk using with the idea in mind, that those who wear my silk scarves have a unique accessory made with skill and with a love for the artistic heritage of humanity. Photos are another source of my inspiration.

With the help of silk painting techniques, these photographs come to life right on the silk: amazing nature, bright holidays, unusual moments.

In my works I have been used silk from different manufacturers from different countries. Fabrics are different and it is very difficult to find fabrics with stable characteristics.
